Everything about the Support International Business (SIB) scheme at a glance
With the Support International Business (SIB) scheme, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs helps SMEs that want to make the step to foreign sales areas. Assistance is also offered to exporters that want to start a new activity on an existing market.
If an application is approved by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), payment will be made immediately to the entrepreneur/applicant.
Who is eligible for this scheme?
This scheme is for SMEs in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. SIB subsidy can be applied for by companies from all sectors that are registered with the Chamber of Commerce. Companies without legal personality, such as a sole proprietorship, general partnership (vof), limited partnership (CV) and partnership, are not eligible.

What can you use this scheme for?
SIB Coaching
Maximum subsidy amount: 1,000 euros. Maximum subsidy: 50 percent of the offer. With the SIB Coaching subsidy, you will brainstorm with an experienced expert (coach) about organizing the export to a specific target country. The coaching includes a maximum of three conversations of two hours, in which the knowledge to draw up an export plan is central. After the conversations with the coach, you as an entrepreneur will be able to largely draw up an export plan yourself.
